I ♥Two Syaorans from Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE and TRC!!!
I wondered wtf was I watching. Satan wants to make a new world. Rin gets shot by yukio only to wake up and reawaken the sleeping yukio in his body that's been taken over by satan. Satan chokes shiemi. and hurts everyone else. Now something is going on with the gate after rin wakes yukio up and satan is dismissed from yukio's body.
next episode the finale to this anime orginal ending. Hope it really delivers so it still hasn't =/
"WTF" story, too much overused shounen manga clichés (like those wake-the-f*ck-up punches) combined with poor direction style... I'm so disappointed with A-1 Picture studio.. :(
i hate how mephisto is just sitting on his magical flying chair and having a fun tea time while watching how everyone gets their asses kicked. god damn it do something! join the satan or whatever i don't care as long as i get to see mephisto fight for real
Too.Much.Drama. Soppy dramaqueens, geez. And there lots of other things that're wrong with all this on so many levels.

I'm like 99% certain we won't see him do anything important. And yeah, I was laughing my ass off when he casually commented on what's going on as if it has nothing to do with him at all and it's not his little brothers and his father fighting below.
Hm... it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. Still, that bromance thing was cheesy as hell.
Next episode will be the last one. Going to be interesting how this ending will turn out and if they're goig to make a second season or not
at the end, Rin was like: "It's okay, my stomach is just bleeding".
gosh, this show sucks. and what's with that random Buddhist stuff? wasn't that supposed to be christian-like anime?
I have actually made a concious effort to remain neautral towards Shiemi, however, she seemed to be at her most annoying level of 'shounen moe girl' in this episode, it was a case of 'how many feminine clichés can we squease in'...
- 'power of love' in the start with Shiemi being at Rin's side when he got flawed
- cutsie, plush toy looking familar (present for merchadising purposes) with cutsie attacks
- Shiemi 'rescuing' the team from danger after THEY did a great job
- indirectly ranking herself above the team (dispite being the newest member) by taking on responsibility that wasn't hers and failing to aid them as they did a vital job rescuing others
- getting hurt as expected after delivering a 'power of love' 'my hurt feelings' speach
- being defenceless and ill prepared in general
- falling unconcious
Shiemi in herself and the situations she's hauled into could create an encyclopedia feminine shounen clichés.
I'll remain neautral towards her, but frankly, I'm too old to 'adore' (what we're all suppose to do) her.
Forgot to add, the rest is pretty much what I expected; Rin's 'I don't want to feel loss way again' speach, Rin's injuries not being as bad as they should have been, Yukio finding himself, Yukio being 'rescued' from further harm; all sweet, but yeah, expected.
I'm suprised that people are still seeing Satan as a decent individual - Satan's number one tool is deception, you don't need to be religious to know this?
Can someone please tell me when the filler ending started? because im pretty sure this series was getting lame by the time the guy's wife appeared (dont remember there names)
Many cliches and stupid moments. Anyway, shit is getting really serious now. The drama wasn't all that good, but I'm glad Yukio woke up and they can fight their dad together. Overall I like the show, but I also can't wait for it to finish next week. Hopefully they'll make it worthwhile.

It started deviating pretty big time from Amaimon's attack in the forest. Berserk!Rin did slightly dominate the battle, but he didn't wipe the floor with Amaimon... and Mephisto... Mephisto had a bigger, cooler and much more important role in the ending of that fight.
well, the only positive was that it was a hell of lot better then many of the previous episode, maybe because they were playing with our emotions, but have to say, i finally enjoyed one episode (since the anime went away from the manga) but many because of the final climax, did find the part where yukio was being called out by rin very cliched and stupid, but when he shot rin i really went OMFG!!
the next episode looks good, but where the hell did that paladin guy dissapear too?? did he commit suicide?!?
and mephisto is just sooo fudging hilarious too watch, his narration are what makes this anime orignal!! XD
So..I was ok with the brotherly love since theyre twins, but I hate the "come to your senses" punch...ugh, annoying.
Besides that! I liked the episode.
Lightyear8684 said: Damn, this series really went downhill, first episodes were great, then it got worse and worse, this not not worth more than 7...
I almost cried ...at how bad this series got towards the ending. I can't understand how can some love this eppy(vote)...just a bunch of cliches/mushy moments.
Ugh, fuck Shiemi. Can't she just stay away from the spotlight and start being useful and help others who are really in need of help? Those precious minutes that were spent on her uselessness could've used to stretch some better scenes, like the brotherhood moment. Yes, I thought that could've been a great moment if only it wasn't too cliche and wasn't that short. They've got the perfect OST but baaaaad direction.
And if I want brotherhood love, there's always FMA:B.
Ok, before the hive mind of "don't like it, don't watch it" swarms this thread, I want to rant on some things about this episode.
For starters, Angelus, how can you get more stupid than that?! Not only you let Shura away, but even when the apocalypse is above your head, you don't even think to run away! Do youwant to stand there like a moron even when the hellfire destroys the academy?! I hope you get burned to a crisp.
And I hate how Rin can never lose even if he dies. He's among the worst incarnations of "boring invincible shonen hero", right between Yugi and Ichigo. You can clearly see that the whole Satan matter is bigger than him, but there's no way he could ever lose the battle just because he's the protagonist and as such, he has everything on his side. Immediate control of his powers without training? Check. Never gets reprimanded for getting everyone in trouble? Check. Pulling a Deus ex Machina with the Power of Friendship and Brotherhood? Double fucking check.
The only good part of the episode was when Shura said "fuck this shit" and gave up on the fight with Angelus by passing through while he was standing still. It was exactely what I would have done if I were in the same situation. And it was bloody hilarious.
I really like this anime and its about to finish...although if Rin defeats satan...then will there even be a 2nd season?....I'm kinda hoping he can't defeat him... haha
Well, Rin isn't the son of a Demon God for nothing~
Besides, Satan won't be defeated. It will end up likely with a cliche where Rin or Yukio knock some sense into Satan and he'll realize what he's doing would have disgusted his "wife." After an intense (hopefully) all-out battle between the exorcists and demons and maybe Mephisto may actually get involved.
When my friend said she cried when Rin was trying to call Yukio back, I thought it was going to be good or something. I actually thought "how stupid".
I didn't mind this development in the last few episodes, but all this shit about making Satan a bad guy first, then a good guy and now a good buy that is acting like a bad guy because he wants demons and humans to be equal is kinda....???
Shiemi was annoying. I didn't mind her at the beginning, but what she did is so stupid I don't even have words to explain how hard I facepalmed when she decided to face Satan, thinking that would solve everything. Yeah, u so smart gurl.
So Satan loved a random human girl just because she was nice to him but he beats his kids up? What? Yeah, Satan, that human girl must be really proud of you for harming her babies.

The buddhist stuff has been in the anime since the beginning, hasn't it? o.O
Besides, Rin's a demon and Satan's son, so he can recover from one of those bullets pretty fast I guess.
Also, damn shadow covering Yukio's lower half. It was the best part of this episode.

If you have invested time into this series, then you have just as much right to an opinion as anybody else.
Providing reasons behind why you didn't think something works well (constructive critisim) is a lot more helpful then a non-specific positive remark such as: "It was awsome".
This (what you stated) is just a case of typical shounen; we shouldn't have to accept it, but many people, particullary the impressionable (easily excited, haven't seen anything similar or contrast; is content in the familar) do accept this - it sells quickly by the mass loads and therefore, production companies don't need to get creative; they produce very familar stories consisting of successful cliche's (kinder words include 'tropes' and 'writing tools') that always entertain the majority.
Honestly, I'm very fed up of the overused 'shounen hero', traits almost always feature:
- a teenage boy
- a very impressionble, emmotional type
- somewhat of an underacheiver
- some rare ability that makes him different
- some level of goofy, just to make him likeable
- eventful backstory/current story
- dysfunctioal family (if any?)
- has a love interest
- gains masses of power quickly
- masters his power in record time, or, minus training all together
- has a group pretty much following him, dispite not being over mature
- what he thinks and feels shapes the entire plot, nobody else gets a look in
- faces of aginst opponents significantly more established then him and almost always wins
- he's the 'be-all-and-end-all' hero, the other characters are somehow hopeless in comparrasion and even they accept this
It's highly annoying how so many writers pretty much catch onto the same thing, yet still, shounen's are my choice of genre (is genre the word?); it's very rare that the main is amungst my fav's (for the reasons stated above), so I mainly look to the other characters and the story progression, as I hve found that I'm more likely to see 'unique' traits in the story itself over the characters (especially mains).
Honestly, I can name a few that are worst then; Rin, Ichigo and Yugi conbined
Well, I've been very optimistic thus far, but now that we basically are at the end, I can say that I'm disappointed. I put my faith in the writing staff and they really let me down.
They had a lot set up and they didn't develop it. I would have preferred that they work with what they've already built instead of trying to end the series here and now because ending it now doesn't make any sense. It's not because the manga's still being published- they could have told a great story even without the manga if they were competent. It's because ending it so quickly and with so little development makes no sense.
I thought I'd go along for the ride and I've stood by this series pretty faithfully so far because I like the premise, but the ending came out of nowhere, the writing's become terrible, and they present a problem, deus ex machina it away, and spin into another problem which they don't present a probable solution too.
Honestly, this feels like on-the-cuff writing more than anything. More than 3/4 of this anime was about Rin wanting to become a paladin, even with the non-manga material that they presented, and then they completely disregard what they already have.
I think I've gotten my point across. I put my faith in this series because I really liked the idea and thought the writers could pull it off, but they've proven otherwise.
If you lived in your computer, you'd be home already.
Retardedly cliche episode. Hopefully Shiemi get killed off, most worthless character ever. Only thing Ao has going for it is the decent OP/ED w/ the great art/animation.
How the fuck are you going to have an adventure story of any substance with a current or history that is eventful? I mean fuck. Anime/Manga might be full of different story telling techniques but there is a ceiling.
These anime gripe lists from people keep getting more and more absurdist. Shounen is your favorite genre my ass.
gains masses of power quickly
Gains masses of power quickly as compared to what? The nameless background characters or the series' villains and mentor characters? Other than these crappy anime abortions that have short stories the deviate from the manga "quickly" is not a word I would use to describe how the average protagonist goes about getting masses of power.
