Her managers/handlers/publicity team all need to be fired en masse. Didn't they stop to consider that her body wasn't anything like what it had been, and that she'd need some time in the gym before parading around in her bra and panties like that?
She seems to be attempting to pick up exactly where she left off, but that was never going to work, was it? She once famous kissed her heroine Madonna on stage, and she'd do well to emulate her idol, whose long term success was entirely based on reinventing herself and evolving in such a way as to appeal to her aging fans with one album, and then targetting an entirely new set of fans with another.
Britney definitely had a strong enough brand to take a couple of years out of the biz and then make a proper comeback. Prince was patient about it, and now he's more popular than ever. She could have used that time to sort out her head outside the glare of the media, enjoyed watching her child grow up. When she was eventually prepared for it, she could have reappeared with a grown up look, a maturer sound, and plenty of spiel for the magazines and talk shows about being a wiser, smarter person who's overcome adversity in her life.
What a shame.
