ID thread with a bit of a twist

Okay, I dislike doing this but I'm clearly not getting anywhere on my own.

First off, I know who the lady is so please don't be that guy who posts her name and that's all. I need something a little different.

Whether it be just this specific picture, the pose, something in that sideways smile or style of the hair, it is driving me mad who she looks like. When I say "who" I mean an actress from a mainstream movie, not porn so again please dont jump in with adult model names and nothing else.

At first I thought she looked like Leslie Mann, but whatever actress in whatever movie, looks eerily like the one in the attached photo. Its a speaking part, she's not a random extra and Im not sure if I remember her wearing an ear piece or head set. Its recent whatever it was, but I watch a lot of movies and I'm at wits ends back tracking.

Please dont move this to the ID thread because its not that sort of ID request.

Does the actress you're looking for have the same blonde hair? Different blonde hair? Did you only see her in one movie?

I'm looking at the picture and coming up with nothing. Additional clues please.

Mayhem - The girl Im thinking of is so close to the pictured model it might as well be her. I only know her from one movie myself, but not to suggest she hasnt been in others.

No worries, DOA. A short time before I read your thread I saw an article on 'RoboCop'. I thought it was longshot.

But as my smartass kid sister said to me the other day. "You're not often right, but you're wrong again".

Okay, I figured out who it was and when you see her, you'll probably wonder what the hell was I thinking.

Well, the woman she reminded me of, was ventriloquist Nina Conti. When she does a show she has the same pursed lip smile and when I saw the pic I posted, I saw a real similarity, to the point where I believe Nina is a brunette version.

I'm glad you figured it out. BTW when I saw the pictured I immediately thought of someone else. A young Leslie Charleson.
