The only segment with the main trio(Yuuko, Mai, and Mio) was the dog scene and that wasn't even focused on them in the first place. That's pretty interesting and a nice formula change from the usual.
Some brief thoughts:
Nano believes in santa just as much as Hakase does which is cute.
The dog scene was funny but I felt bad for Sakamoto especially at the end when Hakase started to hold him up in the air with the rope practically hanging him. Seeing the two panic when confronted with the dogs and struggle to find a solution was hilarious, especially Sakamoto who initially tried to act brave.
I had wondered if Mai left the dogs to torment them at first, but especially from the later line where she asked if they played with her I feel like she must have had good intentions... right? Mai is a mysterious one, but I truly feel she is a good person and her straight faced teasing and jokes come from a place of friendship and fun. She did give Hakase chocolate in reconciliation after all so I'm pretty confident nothing bad was meant by it.
The segment of the popsicle and manapua is literally my life.
I try my best to be positive in any given situation, but it's REALLY hard when things hardly go your way, rip.
The segment of the guy acting like possessed hahaha, in this episode he had too many segments, I liked that, especially the first one, was very funny and is the second time he tried to expose an mystic.
The dogs segment, one of the best of the entire show I'd say, was so funny how they overreacted and when Sakamoto was in the floor, the iconic frame, so comes from this episode. Mai's dogs again, probably they bited them for not inviting Mai. The best.
