After reading recent self-defence stories it's clear that guns should still be considered a no no. Guns causes to many problems and controversies.

I think it should be mandatory for US students (College & High Schools) to carry guns at school, so they would kill those guys breaking into the schools and shooting everywherere...

Actually, there are some colleges that allow students to carry concealed. And, I think it's a great idea.

Unfortunately, shootings at high schools and on college campuses punctuate recent American history. But while some students and teachers feel vulnerable if they’re unarmed and unable to strike back should another tragedy occur, others believe that the more guns that are on campus, the higher the risk for accidents and shootings. The debate is going strong in state legislatures, on Facebook, and at school, and if you’re a prospective college student, you should know the existing gun laws at the schools you want to attend. Besides the schools listed below, even more colleges do allow guns — these are some of the biggest, well-known schools and ones that represent different states and regions.

At least, teachers shold carry guns, so they could keep the students safe. And their should be a course in wich students will learn about weapons and how to use them...

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
The governing body of Virginia Tech, voted down, the right for students to carry concealed, just days before the shooting took place....then dropped the ball with the handling of the situation, probably causing more deaths. Even WITHOUT the right to carry, had they done their jobs properly, they would have reduced the number of dead.

Obviously, high schools are much different, I can't advocate minors carrying firearms, but I see nothing wrong with instructing them in safety,

What about machine-guns at the top of watch towers built all around the shool ?
